How to control your appetite.
Which of us did swore to a fat image in the mirror that the diet is starting RIGHT now.
You have a yoghurt for breakfast, and a salad for lunch and then you are starving at four o’clock in the afternoon and eat a whole box of cookies. You just feel so guilty and decide that it is not worth it, you will never be able to control your appetite.
There goes the diet. You avoid looking in the mirror and then when you do see your self you decide firmly. The diet, change of life style, call it what you want. It starts NOW. And off we go again on the eating, starving, stuffing your face merri-go-round.
How do you break it, how do you decide, this is it. I can do it. I can control my appetite.
What works for me is, is to talk to my body. When I am so hungry that I can eat a horse, I ask my body. Do you want to eat a horse? Of course my body says no, it wants a dubble portion of French fries.
So let’s settle on an apple. Apples are healthy and low in calories, a great snack. If you feel so hungry that you can faint. Tell your body, ” You had a good breakfast and a proper lunch is only an hour away, but you can have an apple if you are SO hungry.
If your body is happy to have an apple, go and eat it by all means. If it wants something else, tell your body to go and do something else. YOU are in control of your appetite.
